HostMyPool runs in a browser. Use a private host device to record shots and a separate venue display to show the current player, lives and winner.

A phone, tablet or laptop with a browser and internet access. Keep the host controls with the person running the game.
A TV or projector with a browser, or a connected device that can show the browser. Test the exact screen setup you’ll use.
Both the host device and display need an internet connection. Check reception around the table.
Request a Pool trial through Host HQ, or use Venue login if your venue already has Pool access. Host HQ manages venue accounts and product access.
Players do not need accounts or phones for this game. The host adds their names and records the shots.
Open HostMyPool from your venue account and choose Create Killer game. Pick Quick, Classic or Custom lives, save the rules and add the players. Start with a single game and a £0 stake while checking the setup.
Check the names and playing order before starting. You can shuffle the order in setup.
On the device connected to the TV or projector, open screen.hostmypool.co.uk. Enter the four-digit screen code shown in the host controls and select Pair screen.
The display shows the player list while the game is getting ready. Start the game from the host controls, then check that the display names the first player.
A Fire Stick setup needs a browser, an internet connection and accessible mains power. Arrange a venue test before relying on a particular TV, stick or projector for an event.
You can practise the scoring first in the interactive demo. Its codes are examples and only work on that page.
Choose one host who can see each shot clearly. Explain the starting lives, black-ball bonus, foul decisions and order before play. Let players follow the venue screen while the host records one result for each turn.
Keep a sign-up list before the event if needed, then enter the names in setup. A short practice game helps the room learn the flow.
Check the four-digit code on the current host game and confirm that both devices are online. A new game has a new code: use the display’s next-game pairing box or reopen screen.hostmypool.co.uk to pair it.
If the host sees an out-of-date screen message, wait for the current turn to refresh and check it before recording another result. If the connection does not recover, check the venue connection and contact Host HQ support.
Tell Host HQ about your table, host device and venue screen. We’ll help you plan a practical first trial.
