What to try in the demonstration
- Set the line-up. Jamie, Priya and Sam start with two lives each. Add an example player if you like.
- Pair the display. Enter the four-digit practice code shown beside the controls. In a venue, you do this on the TV’s browser at screen.hostmypool.co.uk.
- Start the game and record a shot. Pot keeps the current player’s lives; black potted adds one; miss or foul takes one away. Each recorded shot moves to the next active player.
- Correct a wrong tap. Use Undo last result. The lives and current turn return to their previous state.
- Reveal a winner. Keep playing or use the example-shot shortcut. The last player with a life wins.
- Start the next game. Keep the names or open an empty line-up, then pair the display using the new code.
From a demonstration to your venue
This practice game uses HostMyPool’s scoring rules and TV display, with controls arranged for trying it on one page. A venue game uses your Host HQ login, private host controls and a separate display paired over the internet. Demo codes only work here.
The demo shows a single Quick game without a stake. The venue app also offers Classic and Custom lives, host life adjustments and a separate tournament format.
Test it in your venue.
Tell Host HQ about your table, host device and venue screen. We’ll help you plan a practical first trial.
